1. Computer Aided Design (CAD)

• It is used in design of buildings, automobiles, aircraft, watercraft, spacecraft, computers, textiles & many other products.
• Objects displayed in wire-frame.
• Animations are also used in CAD apps
• GDP (graphic design package) provides standard shapes, which can be used repeatedly.

2. Presentation Graphics

• It is used to generate illustrations and generate slides.
• Commonly used to summarize financial, statistical, mathematical data for research and report.
• Example: Bar Chart, Pie Chart, Line Graph, etc.

3. Computer Art

• It used for fine art / commercial art.
